Man I was really pushing it, running on E. When I got to the gas station I filled up 15.663 gallons. That does to show I was coming close to pushing it. I am glad I made it to the gas station. I am glad that I have a big tank. Also didn't break 60, so I was happy about that. I prefer to fill up at the warehouses, primarily Costco. So I try to plan my trips according. I drive so freaking much that it is REALLY wearing on me. So glad to be chilling this weekend in Vegas. Kinda wish my weekend started now, but in a way I checked out already. But 6 more to go and I am free. I am all packed which is the super great thing and my stuff is already in Vegas. I pretty just have to hop on a plane, no check-ins. Woo hoo!

Before meeting up with my friend, Raeceen, I used up my groupon at Violet's cakes. I bought this because Martha Stewart raved about these cupcakes. When I first walked in, I was kinda surprise. It wasn't your typical white chick running the joint. I was pleasantly surprised. Because at first glance the cupcakes and place doesn't look polished. BUT OMG, the cupcakes were unbelievably MOIST. I love moist cupcakes with texture. The icing looks like it holds up. Possibly the best red velvet cupcake thus far. The brownie bomb was a little sweet and I would pass on the blueberry cream cheese next time. Go for the red velvet. I might check out the carrot in the future.

Raeceen introduced me to Roy's Melting Hot Chocolate Soufflé. It's quite delish, the Chocolate has a nice crispy brownie edge. We indulged ourselves on the Aloha Hour $5 Menu. We pretty much order everything on the menu. The sliders are so delicious. I love the pretzel bread on that. It's so nice to have someone local to hang out with and catch a happy hour after work.

This is the one consistent thing I get at Starbuck's. Usually hot, but it was a hot day, so it was refreshing to get it iced. I am posting this pic because I met a DJ at Starbuck's this past weekend. He said something very interesting to me that did not make sense. He likes meeting there to support the mom and pop shops. BUT Starbuck's is not that kind of place. It is one of the biggest franchises that people are addicted to and cost a million bucks to start up. So his comment did not make any sense at all. That automatically reduces his discretion judgement in my opinion. Just pointing that out.

2 more days until a little getaway. Too bad I have to work in Friday. Would be nice to get an early start on the weekend. But that's okay, I get to met up with my BFF and grab lunch! Porto's too, it's going to be delicious. They have yummy sandwiches there. Two of my favs are the Steak Torta and the Bistec. And I love them pastries.

On my way home from work today, I noticed how the sky has these white luscious clouds. I love clouds like there. It's so whimsical and dreamy, like you're a care bear without a care in the world. The sky was so blue today and the white clouds really stood out. Such a pretty afternoon. But too warm here in the valley. It's definitely a summer this time around.

I like driving in Downtown and seeing the sky line. I trying to obtain some roof access to these buildings, but that is so hard to come by. Even the corporate tycoons I know give me the run around. Just kidding. I'll just to the the penthouse at the Ritz. I am pretty sure I'll get some sort of view from there.

Haven't baked much of late. Way too hot to cook anything in my house. Maybe when it gets cooler.

Today is my Bro's Birthday....Shout out to Benedict! Hope you are staying fresh in the eastern humidity. Interestingly, my mom offered a mass for my brother in honor of his Birthday. It was a Spanish mass though. I actually was doing well in the first half and understood what was going on. Until the middle portion where I really start to stray away and wonder in thought. I will talk about that next. But we also went out to eat afterwards and had noodles because that is how birthdays are celebrated in my family.

Now back to the attention at church. It was such a long service. I ofter wonder why I go to church. It is because of my mom really. And it was really hot in my house. I should really go more consistently. But I don't pay attention, so I think what is the use. To sit there and not pay attention. Once again, I am conflicted. But this week, I am going to try and call this priest man. Not necessarily for that reason though. Other marital matters.

It's my bed time. I really should get ready for bed. But I wanted to blog a bit and post a picture. I know two blogs in one huh. WOW huh.

Shaved snow is the new shaved ice. It is so much better and smoother. I love it. This particular place is so close to my house. It is pretty good and these toppings are well thought out and balanced. I like the little scoops of green tea ice cream. The red bean is good and I can actually eat the mochi on this one. The boba are also a nice compliment with the matcha. It's been a while since I had 302. I'll stick with this place, it's much closer to my house and great for sharing.
It has been a long time since I've visited the Getty Center. My cousin-in-law from Bethesda, Maryland was visiting. He wanted to check out the architecture of the place. I love the views you get from you, it's literally like a 360 view of the surrounding areas. I enjoy coming here. A place to walk around and check out the art. And a lovely garden. The picture to the left is absolutely hilarious. It's comically and a sigh of hilariousness and being carefree. I love it!

Later on, we went to the Kodak Theatre to watch the Iris Cirque du Soleil. Before that, I just had to fill my cupcake craving. And what better place than at Crumbs Bake Shop. I swear these cupcakes got bigger. I love it! It was really moist and the frosting was good. I love the vanilla sprinkles and the crumb frosting. Check out all the other choices to choose from.

Iris just opened this week and I really enjoyed the show. It captivated my attention through the show. I believe the premise is to show the art of cinema. My favorite are the art acrobats. They were funny and really entertaining. The Noir portion looked flawless too making it look so easy to jump of a trampoline. Overall, I was entertained so I would recommend this. It is 2ND to KA still in my opinion.

Gosh! It has been really so long since I posted. I don't really know where to begin. I suppose I am feeling overwhelmed these days too. There is a plethora of information out there. Too much to keep up with.

Anyways, why am I blogging today. I guess to release some of the mum-bo-jumbo that is rumbling around my brain. I love listening to Pandora. It is one of the greatest inventions out there. Of couse, I would prefer it commercial free, but we can't have everything we want, right? or Can we?

Among the many media oriented database, Google+ has been creating a buzz, of late. It is overwhelming to keep up with all this. I pretty much deleted all the rest of my other ones and decided to stick to just one. Now with this new hype...it might be too much to keep up with. We shall see, it looks more interactive.

These days I've just been working. Definitely spending too much in traffic though. LA is very unforgiving in that aspect. I spend half of my time in LA and the other half in the OC. I like being based in LA because it is closer to work, but I like living in the OC.

I put a bid down on a house a while back ago. It is taking so long; I think I am going to withdraw my ofter, but I also might just look at house with another agent. That is the problem with redfin. Once you have an offer down, it is not as easy to tour houses. Anyways, I talked to my agent today and it highly unlikely that we are going to get the place.

Last week, I was sick. I apparently had walking pneumonia. That is definitely not a good thing for me because that means I am more susceptible of getting it again especially in my line of work. It's funny, I always used the HVE to try and prevent getting pneumonia, but I guess it couldn't be helped. I haven't been sick for so long, in my 3 years of working as an RDH. I guess it was bound to happen. It wasn't funny coughing my lungs off last week. I am glad to be a lot better now and being back at work. It is no fun being sick at home. I tried to sleep and was just tired. Tomorrow, back to my gym routine. Still coughing some, but definitely a lot more functional.

The weddings of 2011 begin. My boyfriend and I were in the Bay Area last weekend for a wedding. It was so nice being up north. The area is crisp and clean and it is so green up there. I think its just nice to be away every once a while. It was pleasant to explore the town of Pleasanton and explore San Francisco. I look forward to my next trip to the bay.

I finally updated my yelp and am blogging now. It's so hard to keep up with all these sites sometimes. Too many things going on that it is nice to just check in once a while. I slept nearly 12 hours, slept at 10 and rose a little before 10. I been in my house the whole day, I should really get some fresh air, but I am enjoying sitting on my couch watching tv and surfing the web.

Next on my to do list is plan my Fiji trip. Hopefully I can get something finalized by tomorrow.

Tuesday, January 18, 2011

I really should be sleeping now. In fact, that is something on my to do list: sleep earlier. I been sleeping much later than usual. So I shall make this short and sweet. I just updated my links sections. I really want to blog more, but facebook is really consuming my time. I will have to readjust that soon. Perhaps, I will deactivate it again. Hmmm.... just a thought.... we'll see.

Anyways, I said I would make this short. I have two more days (wednesdays) that is left in LCF. Then it is off to a new journey in NB. That is exciting!

Sunday, November 14, 2010

I have returned. It has been a while since I have blogged. I have been quite busy I guess. I finished p90x. That means I will have more free time. GREAT! But this week is going to be busy. My cousin is getting married on Saturday. So it'll be a busy one.

I find that there are so many things in life that we would like to do. We just got to pace ourselves. Our lives are disorganized as organized as it can be perceived. I got all these computer files, old books, piles of then and junk that can be someone else's treasure. So that is my goal for next year to clean up my life. I think it is a good one. I wish I could live a more simple life that didn't have so much clutter in it. But I guess that is what gives me character. I am constantly reorganizing my closet. I think I am going to do another donation pile and see my useless things at upillar.com or something of that sort.

I love how I have this space to rant and just express my thoughts.

Lately, I have had a semi toothache...I must need a cleaning I am I am due for one. That should help. Maybe I will take an x-ray of it. I think it is partially due to stress. I think I must be feeling some somewhere. Oh yes, I remember the source now. I think it's time I let that day go. That will probably make me happier in the long run. Definitely that crossroad has come.

The holidays are coming, that means baking time! I decided to make 3 holiday variaties: probably a shortbread cookie, a brownie and my famous wreath cookie.

Been yelping lately....I am trying to yelp more these days. It is so helpful, so I thought I would five my 2 cents.

Sunday, October 17, 2010

It's sunday and I get to sleep in, how nice! I am still kinda tired so after having my cereal for breakfast, I head back to bed with my laptop. I am now here I am blogging. It's raining outside and I can hear the droplets of rain. It's great that I can just lay here in bed on a lazy sunday and cozy up under my blankets. It's getting cold now and the weather is changing once again. We are getting the rains pretty early this year but it is so nice because everything is turning green. Our grass is so green, with the rain the pass couple of weeks, it really hydrated it.

How I spent my Saturday.

This saturday I worked in Newport Beach. I started my day at 6:00am. Then left the house at 6:30am and headed out to the OC. Before working, I decided to pick up a ham and cheese croissant from Seaside Donuts Bakery. The Ham and Cheese Jalapeno also caught my fancy. End result $4.50. I ate half of each because they were warm and wanted to see what the one with jalapeno tasted like.
There were a bunch of surfers taking on these waves. It was pretty misty and drizzly this AM. Definitely, the best way to start of my day.

After 6 hours of work, I decided to head over to Oh Those Donuts to grab a sandwich before I head home. I came here back in college and remember how much I enjoyed their sandwiches. It's plain and simple just the way I like it. And the best part... are the donuts. I got a glazed donut while I waited for them to make my sandwich. Rye was on my mind so I ended up getting my sandwich with rye. Then I realized that squaw was the kind I liked. When I come here after work, the 4 times that I have there is this group of men that meet here. I have always wondered what they meet for and one day I might just ask. Maybe next month when I work in Newport again.

Here's my turkey sandwich $6.00. And my fries $1.60. Oh Those Donuts stop $9.17. The fries were perfect to keep my going on my drive home. And the ranch was super good with them.

To complete my week/day, I thought that a massage was well deserved. So I headed over to Heart and Sole Reflexology and got me a massage.

Friday, October 15, 2010

potatoes and chocolate, what do they have in common? They are comfort food. Something about them just really settles me and makes me happy. you can add french fries or sweet potatoes to that list. They put a smile on my face. That.. or really settle my cravings. don't overdose though cause it can result with a headache.

its friday night and i still have one more day of work. I decided to work this sat because i was free. pick up some extra cash....too bad its hella far. I gotta remember this for next time. 6 days of work is definitely too much. I am thinking about getting a massage this weekend after all this work.

My reward... if i get to work early enough, I am going to pick up a ham and cheese croissant from seaside donuts bakery. Then after work, I am going to pick up a sandwich from oh those donuts and maybe even a donut or 2. hehe. will post pictures, if i remember my camera...hopefully i do. upside....no traffic on sat morning....can't say the same about the pm.

Friday, October 08, 2010

I finished 2 months of p90x, one more month to go. Woo hoo!!! After p90x, I've got to device a new work out regiment.

So lately, I've been waiting How I Met Your Mother. It's a bit whimsical. The first time I was exposed to this was on an airplane heading something and it was the buttercup episode.

I am starting to notice that this blog post is really random. It's me randomly thinking what I am thinking without editing. Either that or I am watching tv and my thoughts are broken up.

So there's this pizza place by my house that makes cornmeal crust. The cornmeal crust really makes this place. It makes it unique. We got the spinach pesto, four cheese, vegetarian, and corn. I been here a couple of times and would like to try more of their flavors. I love how I can just walk to this place. That is a definite plus!

Thursday, September 30, 2010

I had a day off on Wednesday, which was great because it just so happens it was restaurant week on Orange County. I love having Wednesdays off. It's a perfect midweek break. Work for two, take a break. Then work for two more, then its the weekend. I actually got a lot done, I love being productive. I started my day with working out. Then had lunch with Frank at Bagels and Brew. They make pretty delicious sandwiches....at least the one I had with was the Havarti Florentine. I love havarti and it made it so much more delicious. I love how havarti is creamy. I had the other half for lunch today and it was just as delicious. YUM!

I decided to go ahead and get a haircut. I had been contemplating it for a while. I wanted to let my hair grow really long, but it kept whipping me in the face, so I had to trim it down. Also its healthier to get a trim every so often. My hairdresser... I have been going to her for a decade now and its funny, she was laughing at me because of the highlights in my hair. They really stood out in her chair more than usually. Anyways, I got the hint and fixed it. Earlier in the summer, I had highlights, and well, they grew out, but not the way they normally do. The blend is now gone. I am sitting here with 4 mins left to wash it out. Back to black... I think.

Frank and I decided to check out Memphis Cafe in Costa Mesa. We both hadn't been there and I always wanted to see what this place was all about. We both got the $30 3-course dinner meal. This was my first course.
Cornmeal fried green tomato salad, caramelized pearl onions, smoked goat cheddar, warm bacon vinaigrette. The cormeal with the fired green tomato was good. The caramelized pearl onions were not very caramelized. The goat cheese was nothing speical. The vinaigrette was too much. I felt that this salad was too greasy. Overall, no bueno.

This is Frank's first course.
Southern rock crab cakes, corn & peppers, herb salad, smoked tomato beurre blanc. It was like mush. You couldn't really taste the crab. It also was no bueno.

Seared, day-boat scallops, green chile grits, Cajun creamed corn, fried okra. Overall the scallops were cooked just right. The green chile grits complimented the cajun cream corn. This to me was a pretty southern dish, similar to jambalaya. My only complaint is: TOO SALTY!

Frank decided to get the steak as his second course.
Block cut, Harris Ranch new york strip, roasted pee-wee potatoes, purslane, blistered grape tomatoes, oyster mushroom sauce. This was nothing special. It's a typical strip steak.

Seasonal fruit cobbler, sweet biscuit crust, vanilla bean ice cream. The sweet biscuit crust made this dessert, but I must say that I got gyped because there was no vanilla bean ice cream to compliment the cobbler with. All I got was whippped cream. BOO! Once again, NO BUENO!

We also got the Belgian chocolate layer cake, fresh whipped cream, berry coulis. That wasn't anything special. It's like chocolate cake. Thick consistency. I prefer my cakes moist.

Final thoughts on Memphis Cafe: watered down drinks, food was nothing special, good service. Would I come back here? I wouldn't go out of my way, let's just say that.

Frank and I decided to check out this Carribbean place around old town pasadena. I recently yelped this place and when I found out it was a Carribbean place, I jumped on it. We decided to check it out on saturday for lunch. We started our meal off with a side of Festival bed. They are basically deep friend cornmeal. It was pretty tasty. But tiny as you can see. It comes with a pineapple chutney and sliced of almonds. It was pretty good. Sweet taste but well balanced by the cornmeal.

I wanted to try the Jerk Chicken Sandwich because it came with Irie Fries which were delicious. The Jerk dressing was tasty as was the chicken and the mango salsa was so good. The red onion was grilled just right. Overall, a very satisfying meal. The deep friend plantain was good too.

Frank got the Ox Tail with rice and beans. He quite enjoyed it. It was quite tender and came with a side salad and a fried plantain. The rice and beans was authentic jamacian cuisine. I though it had an herbal flavor to it, but it could have been a jerk spice.

We will most likely check this place out again on a Saturday night to catch some live music.

I made some Devil's Cupcakes with Buttercream Frosting. When I was putting it in the frig, they toppled and I was really sad because now they aren't all pretty. I was really annoyed at the watermelon. That was the reason they toppled. I hate watermelons. They are big and heavy and make my pretty cupcakes unpretty. BOO! Had to do some major damage control. Still annoyed and want to stab or throw that watermelon so that it shatters into many pieces. I am allergic to watermelons, so it ain't gonna get no love from me. My mom put it in my frig. I don't really know why when we have an empty freezer and her frig isn't filled, so there was clearly room for it there. BOO!

so many thoughts process through my head throughout the day its hard to keep all my thoughts in line. i usually have an epiphany that just slips away from me. does that me it was not a true epiphany?

I went to a products presentation speed dating tonight. and no, this isn't like the speed dating you think it is. Its for my CEs, which I am just doing just cause now. It's always fun going to the CEs with this one group practice close to my house. I learned about OralDNALabs. They basically do diagnostic testing to test for precursor of systemic conditions. How great is that? With a simple saliva test you can test to see if you are predispose to let's say HPV. I am going to do more reading about this.... for it is an up and coming innovation that will be pretty popular.

On the lighter side of things...looks like i'll be vacationing in Maui next october. I am pretty excited about that. It's the one island I have yet to explore. I've got the travel itch, but alas, I am homebound for the rest of the year. I looked at the calendar and looks like there isn't much of an opportunity to get away until March. BOO! But that's okay....just means I can save. Starting fresh again.

Sunday, September 19, 2010

I've always wanted to try and make lemon bars. So I decided Barefoot Contessa's receipe. They are pretty tarty.... because of the lemon of course. I hope its a crowd pleaser. I usually prefer to make something sweet so this is a little bit more out of my element.

Saturday, September 18, 2010

I'm one of those people that need to carry a notepad and pen or a mobile app that will allow me to write down key words to remind me of my thoughts. I had a pretty eventful day. I got up way too early today but that's okay because I went to sleep at 10 and slept at least 9 hours or so. I decided to do cardio X. Having gotten the workout done, I went and got an oil change. And ran some errands.

I met up with Audrey and Andy and got a chance to catch up with them. We had dinner at Chang's Garden before heading off to watch a movie. We decided to see eat pray love. The movie was actually pretty good. I never read the book so I have nothing to compare it to. I kinda like it that way. The movie was about finding balance and being happy. At least that is what I got out of it. It teaches you not too get married to young because you could grow apart. That's kinda a scary thought. I guess that's why they call it a leap of faith. Anyways, life is all about finding balance. We are constantly juggling things around us. The whole meditation thing was really interesting.

I think julie roberts got big in this movie. I saw in a magazine that she got a boob job, I think she just put on some poundage and that's how the boobs grew.

Tomorrow, I am going to attempt to make lemon bars and maybe some sewing.
How come men don't take the woman's last name? Apparently these days, some children take their mother's last name. Apparently, school like to know that the mom and child have the same last name. It's so strange....because there are so many chen's and lee's.....a chen can then just claim another chen. I think its lame. This is what someone was telling me. She has a 16 yrs old but got divorced and can't formally change her last name back to her maiden name because of her son's school. Strange.

So I decided to get tacos again for dinner. I wanted to try something else and see what else komodo has to offer. I was curious to see what the Asian Marinated Chicken was all about. I see people ordering this so let me try it out for my self. It's grilled orange marinated chicken with stir fried rice. The fried rice caught my attention. It has good flavors, but the chicken was a tad dry for me. still a good combination and the mandarin orange makes for a nice presentation. I also tried the fish n' grapes. I know the combination sounds kinda weird. It's a deep-fried alaskan cod tossed with fresh grape salad. The cod was good, but also kinda dry, tough. i don't get fish and chips too often, but i expected more tenderness. I didn't like the celery flavor on the grape salad. There is only one thing left that I would like to try and that's the soi which is a vegetarian soy tempeh salad with a savory peanut dressing. I love peanut flavored stuff..... so i'll give this a try in the future.

A shout out to the guys at the Arcadia Komodo Truck for the free tacos. Thanks for caring what I think. I am surprised they "remembered" me. See you for the Soi.

Sunday, September 12, 2010

i think i am dehydrated. I am slowly starting to feel weak. This post is going to be kinda of gross. So here's the disclaimer. Stop reading, NOW!

I woke up this morning with these horrible cramps. Before that, I was craving some maple toast from 85C. But as the morning progressed, the cramps were becoming intense. I had 2 solid deuces. So I thought that I was done.......boy was I wrong. Apparently there was much more to come. The cramps got so bad. I thought....appendicitis.....right side....pain--> left side. ruled out. Then the diarrhea was upon me. I felt somewhat better. Then POW.....i was hit again......and again.....6 times.....that is not fun on the hole. I thought.....what was the cause of this evilness??? Was it the food from the tailgate??? Or was it that garlic french fries.....i dunno.... all I know is.....i will not be eating solids for a while....it just comes out the other end.

Apparently, people experiences diarrhea 1-2x a year. That's interesting. Time to rest a bit....i guess this is a natural cleanse.

Wednesday, September 08, 2010

I was just coming out of REI and I noticed this komodo food truck. So I decided to check it out. I tried the Komodo 2.0 which is a seared skirt steak with jalapeno aoli & southwest corn salad. This was really good. I liked like the skirt steak and jalepeno aoli. I also tried the Blazin' Shrimp taco. This was just okay its a spicy singaporean-style shrimp with sour cream salad. I'd pass on this. For a food truck, I thought the food was pretty pricey. $3 tacos and $8 burritos.

omg! it has been so long since i have posted anything. in fact, i forgot i had a blog. SO SAD :(

I just read cindy's blog and got inspired to blog. we'll see if this even last a day. I have come to realize that people stop checking my blog because I haven't blogged in so long.

I just finished doing cardio X. I was so tired as I was driving to the OC from Santa Monica. I was falling asleep, how bad. I am just cooling down before I shower. Then maybe take a quit nap before AYCE Sushi.

Tomorrow, I am off to San Diego, it has been so long since I headed down there. I'll catch up with some friends which will be nice since it's been a while since we've chatted.

ciao for now.

Wednesday, March 11, 2009

oh well, shower time. i'm sleepy.

my guilty pleasure....watching days of our lives.

what's yours?

I'm back! I am about to go to sleep, but I wanted to blog a little bit. I am feeling particularly happy today. I realized I don't bake as much as I used to. I was going to post some pictures of my chocolate croissants, but there wasn't picture worth putting up.

I had a midterm today, glad that is over with. And this weekend I am going to VEGAS, that's right, vegas baby! I'm not a big vegas person, but hey i'm on spring break, so bring it. Then work for a week and THEN mammoth time. I can't wait to try out my new board and stop by eric schat's.

So hopefully I won't be a lazy ass and update my adventures. for now, i must go to bed. last night was horrible cause i was thinking and studying environmental epi while i was sleeping. I was getting no REM that night.

Happy 2009! It's the first day of the new year! And I already have so many bruises. Blaise didn't properly put away the benches so I almost ate it. My knees are all bruised up now. poo! I hope they and my bite marks heal before next sat, not this coming, so I can wear a dress to the the upcoming wedding I have. The day before I hurt myself with a shopping cart.

This new year's eve was pretty chill. So that was nice! I went over to Blaise's with Frank and we rung in the new year at Pasadena. So here's my 2 cents. I think it's really uncool of these wholagans that throw crap on people's cars as they are passing through Colorado. I mean really, that's flat out littering. If I were a cop on duty, I would point blank write out tickets to these wholagans. I saw juveniles with streamers and marshmallows and some people throwing out corn tortillas.

There are people that have nothing to eat and these people are just wasting food throwing it out there. I don't mean to be a debbie downer but I just think that's not cool. so that's my 2 cents. anyways, what comes around goes around, so to all those people throwing crap to tourist or people just wanting to enjoy the sights of pasadena, watch your back, cause you don't know when you get paid forward for what you have done.

Now onto, Bromance........that show....frank remind me, what was i suppose to blog about...oh yes, i remember. i can't believe this show is on mtv....well, i can sorta i guess.....but i mean really now, this show is so entertaining that you hate to watch it, but love to watch because you get caught and trapped and then you just love to end up watching the bromance....it's thrown some catchy diction like broast.....and etc. it's pretty much the man version of that paris hilton looking for a bff, which was pretty lame. sorry paris.

Sunday, November 09, 2008

it's sunday already! that's what i get for doing absolutely nothing on friday. Now, i must work on my study critique. BOOO! i really dislike school. I am just waiting for May 2009 then I can retire from school and just relax for a couple of years.

But's it so strange how i have been going to school for this long. the whole MPH thing was totally unplanned. but now I am vested so i must get through it. i really hope i utilized this degree. My B.S. in Bio just sits on the wall. My B.S. in hygiene needs framing but at least it's making me $$. So let's hope the MPH combined brings in all together.

TAKE DOWN 7 ELEVEN on Las Tunas in San Gabriel.

I went dinner at this plaza in san gabriel with my family. And I was so shocked. My dad is handicapped so we have the place card. I parked in the handicap space located outside 7- eleven. THERE WERE ONLY 2 in the whole plaza. So THE FACT THAT 7 ELEVEN WAS LIMITING 15 MINUTES TO THAT SPACE WAS OUTRAGEOUS. To make sure I went into ask that guys and I quote..."5 minutes, but for you 15 minutes." What the help, who is he to say how much time I can have on a BLUE HANDICAPPED SPACE meant for handicapped people. I was really mad because there's a reason why that space is blue. And him putting a time limit on it is beyond me. I am going to report him. I called the san gabriel police department, so we'll see what they do about it.

Even if, it's his property (which i doubt), that is still discrimination and something should be done about it. Am I wrong here or over reacting?

Just got back from mammoth. It was great!!!!
Wish I didn't have stuff to do tomorrow. Today was such a nice day at mammoth. such a shame to leave so soon.

Back to reality. At least for tomorrow. Then I can relax for a little. Catch up on working out. I am getting puggy. So time to commit to the stairmaster and running. I think age is catching up with me. Off to hit the shower and then wake up early. Have plenty to do tomorrow. I wish we got assigned earlier.
