39 weeks today

I am due in about a week. Frank is super excited for the baby to arrive. I don't mind waiting a little bit longer since I haven't hit that 40 week mark yet. But I have to admit it does get harder to sleep and such. On top of that I am tired a lot. 

I am glad I was able to finish my post baby food prep and have even been able to craft a few things here and there. Yesterday I dyed this cheesecloth petal pink for a newborn photo op. 

Today is our anniversary, so I'll be attempting to make a mocha cake. Wish me luck!

Back up

I just realized that I have 4 months of photos to back up.  Oh dear!  This is what happens when you have ample memory on your phone.  I better get that Cloud system set up.  I gotta make some space for Baby Arden's arrival.

April Shower

How fitting it is to shower today on my baby shower. I am almost about 8 months pregnant and excited to catch up with friends and family. I made these onesie cookies for the occassion. 

While making these, I learned how to make royal icing and how to thin it to flood the cookies. Decorating them was fun and Frank wanted to decorate some as well. I hope my guests enjoy them! 

It's 2016! I been MIA. Why? 

I've moved!

Things gotta kinda crazy in September. My husband and I were relocating and at the same time he got a new job offer. We were planning to go back to SoCal and ended up in NorCal.

In the middle of all that craziness, we found out that we are expecting.

Things have simmered down and we have settled into our new place.

The holidays came and went.

Nowadays I am just enjoying my expanding belly. I am learning how to play the piano. I am also going to try launching a new blog. Wish me luck!
