i am so exhausted. yesterday i could do nothing but sleep. on friday, i woke up at 5:30am because i needed to expel something out of my system. it was so acidic. this continued on until 7:00. Puking 5 times. that was a killer. on my last one, I thought I hope that was it because I need to get to school for rotation and clinic. But that was far from over. Upon my arrival at school, the diarrhea reared it's ugly head. and then i thought, ok, that's the last of it. So I tried to hold it all down during rotation but that it was too much for me. In attempt to prepare for my afternoon patient, i felt even worst. luckily, i got one of my classmates to take my patient and i went over the the health center. the lady said we don't do walk in and an appointment for me at 1:20pm. So i got there at 11:50am.....so i was like, i'll just wait. when i checked in the other lady was like, i'm sorry that lady did that you you because you should be in urgent care. so that's where i went to next. So they then hooked my up to 2 bag of an IV, took my stool and my urine and had some blood work done. i was there for 5+ hours. the IVs took so long. it was painful and cold. when i was released, on my drive home, i ended up puking. and after a shower and laying it bed i fevered up. the next morning, i started to feel better. and today i am better. i am still just so tired and all i want to do is sleep. i am on dietary restrictions, so no fast food for me. i hope i get re-energized soon. i so sleepy already.

so i had acute gastroenteritis.......dang mussels from brussels.

it's late, i should really go to sleep soon. i don't have classes tomorrow because of graduation. i am so happy. that means i can sleep in and catch up on some work, or get ahead. i been keeping up with my classes, so probably getting ahead because next week i have mobile clinic, so i will be up in visalia.

after this i will shower and head to bed. but first, an update. so i was cleaning up and i was starting to get overwhelm. as you know i was at a CDHA convention last week and I got all these samples so i have SO MANY toothbrushes, flosses, toothpaste, etc. It's going to be like christmas for my patients. i need like another box or something to give stuff away. if anyone wants to try Crest prohealth, or something, let me know, and i can hook you up.

I filled an amalgam and polished one today, that was fun. Next week I have my anesthesia comp. when i pass, I can anesthetize, that is going to be cool. i just need to brush up on my mandibular injections, that Inferior alveolar nerve block is kinda tricky. I can wait cause I am going to inject my patient the following friday. At least that is my hope. It is going to be a challenge, i really should have referred them to Super Senior Clinic. What was I thinking. Oh well this will make me a better clinician.
