Rewind......


Saturday. I am suppose to be reading the Plato Symposium for my humanities class. It's about homoerotic love. I guess i'll get to that later. Most of the day has gone by.....i woke up quite early this morning....oh around 8-ish. I slept quite early. I did my morning calls. It's a weekend so it's great cause i can make as many phones calls as i want. during the weekdays i am really stingy about picking up calls. unless if its mobile to mobile.

Philip and I went to fry's to get his ribbon thing for his computer and to FOREYES. I needed to pick up my contacts. As we were getting ready to head back home, we saw this strange man conducting some sort of strange ritual in the parking lot next to his car. Philip wanted to slap him. that would have been interesting if he did.

I also purchased books from Barnes and Noble. It's way cheaper to get your books there. So i am going to return the ones that i bought from the textstore and bookstore.

Friday. Today was the first day of class. I went to work in the morning then went to class. I only had one class...humanities 3c....its about ambition and desire in relation to humanity. Work was fine. I learned how to use the computer with the insurance stuff. did some filing. made a bunch of calls. i wonder how often we get paid. i still have to ask about that. I don't have work on monday. kinda nice....cause monday is a very busy day....with it being the first workday and all.

Chris got a hair cut. he's gone through so many styles. I went to 99 ranch and got some food. they have all these goodies there.

Thursday. I trained for the part-time dental receptionist position. It was kinda scary at first because they lady just started me by calling insurance companies to get information on patients. by the end though, i got the hang of it. so I guess i got the job cause I'll be working in the morning every day. wow...a really job. it was also the last day of welcome week. we got a good amount of people to sign up for ASDA. i'm glad. i also went on a job interview. it was more informal.

saw the premier of FRIENDS. i thought it was alright. we'll see what happens.

Wednesday. I went on a job interview for a part time dental receptionist position. The lady asked me if i could come in tomorrow to train. so I was wondering.....did I get the job?

well, that's as far back as i can recollect.

first day of class......


ahhh...it has been a while. I been busy, as you can see. here's what i've been up to this whole week. I guess i'll back-track. i am so sore and tired. i really should get some sleep cause i have to get up early to go to work. school actually hasn't started yet. but it will, in 12 hours, at least for me that is. I only have one class. isn't that great. hmm...i'll continue this tomorrow, my neck is tired and i think i should go to sleep.

I'm on a high......

currently listening to gigi d'agostino --- i'll fly with you. sitting at home in arcadia in my old room, better known as Sophia's Play Pen. it's quite hot in here and i'm sure my flannel pants aren't helping. what can i say.....all my clothes seem to disappear everytime i come home. i don't really care though. geez, i can barely see the monitor and i am wearing my contacts too. i am practically squinting. maybe it's cause i have been wearing my contacts all day and they are a bit dry. i have one more pair left until i run out. this one has a tear too.....i really don't think i should be wearing it, but oh well...i'll change them when school starts. pretty soon, i'd say....on FRIDAY......boooo.

much better.....i change the setting on my computer to 800 by 600 so that i can see much better. ahhhhh.....today was such an exhausting day. let me tell you what i did. I woke up pretty early....at around 9ish. that's pretty good for me because usually i get up at around 12ish. so i take my shower and get ready to go out.

my mom, dad, brother (Benedict), sister (sophia), and me all head out to go to this EYE place cause i need to get new contacts. remember i only have ONE pair left. But first we went to go and get gas. my goodness....that took forever....and all that shouting.....this is what happened. Don't you just hate it when people take up the whole space when they are filling up gas and there's that open gas pump behind them. well, that's what happened to me. So I usually fill up my car with SPECIAL......well, that didn't happen today because the hose wouldn't reach. seeing as how i couldn't move any further. my dad accidental release the regular button and my car filled up with 2 gallons of regular gasoline. Then there's was shouting about....no, you can't do that....so we put super gasoline in it to. so i justed wanted to get it over with. i hate going to the gasoline station cause i can't stand the smell of gasoline. if you look at it this way (which you shouldn't cause i am sure it is really bad for your car) my car did get a distorted version of special gasoline.

our next stop was the eye place. luckily the guy working there usually works at a branch in huntington beach. so he took my order and will call me when my contacts are ready. that should be around tuesday or wednesday. i hope someone comes with me. i don't want to go there alone.

chinatown/downtown was our next destination. my sister wanted to go there because she wanted to get a dress for homecoming. it is supposedly cheaper over there. what a disaster. so we got there and bam! no one knew where the fashion district was (this area where they sold dresses...what we were looking for.) i surely did a lot of walking....i probably got a tan too. After walking several, several blocks, calling people who we thought would know where the fashion district was......we finally found the place. we looked long and hard......bargained here and there and finally found A dress for my sister. My mom picked it out. She's quite proud of herself. i'd have to admit, my mother has pretty good taste. My sister on the other hand has horrible taste in my opinion. She kept pointing out all these OLD lady dresses. I tried on her dress when we got home. It fit me quite nicely. My dad was insisting that they take a picture so that they could show my sister. I must admit though, that dress did look quite nice on me.

Our last stop of the day was the cathedral. My mother wanted to check out this new cathedral. I thought it was too commercialize and not traditional. It's on temple and in between broadway and grant, i think, if you ever want to check it out.

Wait...there was one last, last stop. This place at rosemead. my dad wanted to get some tofu. oh yeah...we ate at chinatown. There was this one place where my dad was bargaining with this short old lady. she really let her back go. i better start drinking milk or taking supplements....i don't want to turn out like her.

We ate at the SAM WOO CAFE at chinatown. They have the WORST BOBA ICED TEA. THE WORST!

after church, we went to eat at coco's. i haven't been there in a while. their food isn't all that. that's probably why.

i am really tired. i still have to go and get my car fixed tomorrow. poo. oh well....it must be done.


Friday.I saw Ballistic with my sister. Surprisingly, i also saw my brother there too with his friends. I liked it because i like that type of action. i don't want to give anything at all so i won't say anything else. My sister, on the hand, didn't like it that much. I thought the little boy was so cute.

Thursday. Chris's parents came to visit. They came down because Ewen is moving into the dorms. They are so cute.

philip is coming down tomorrow. i can't wait. then it'll be a full house. yuppie.

I went to AF today and met this cute guy that worked there. he just moved from hawaii. he likes it here cause the weather over there is always HOT. he says he like it here better because the weather is much cooler. i would think that living in hawaii would be great though. but i wouldn't know since i've never lived there. i think its just the scenery that would attract me to such a tropical paradise. he's tall and slender, has brown hair. not like the regular AF guys. he forgot to take off my sensor so when i went to another store, it went off. so i went back to AF. odd think is that i didn't even hear it when i walked out of their store. it's cause the music ws so loud. i figured that out when i went back to get the sensor taken off. so as i got back in line and he was like, "hmmm.. (facial expression)..i wonder why she's back." so i told him that he forgot to take off my sensor. he's like..."oh it's cause i wanted you to come back..." and i was like "...of course...." which is odd...cause i was thinking "...hmmm...i kinda wanted to go back and chit chat someone."

Saturday Events......

Cindy and Brian came to visit today! As I was getting ready for their arrival, I couldn't find anything to wear. I feel all blob-by and extremely bloated. why? because my period is coming. I noticed that every month there's this period of time when i indulge in food and become bloated and well, it's not a good thing. After my period I feel normal again and picking out something to wear is a cinch. I feel better now though after swimming; i feel like i've exercised some and also feel healthier.

Anyways, I digress. So as I was saying..... Cindy and Brian came to visit. We chilled at my place for a while. We all had a bagel and cream chesse before going to pick up sue to go to South Coast. We were there for about 3 hours or so. Poor Brian. He was a good sport about it. Didn't complain at all. After the mall we came back to my place and played some old school NINTENDO. Super Mario Brothers. That was fun because I haven't played that game in so long.

We waited for Chris to get off work. Then we all headed to Dave and Buster's at the Irvine Spectrum. Chris and I played some arcade games before we ate. We played Daytona 500...something....racing. The first time I came in 2nd, but the second time to we, I came in first. yuppie! There was this other game. house of the dead...i'm not too good at it though. There was also this so-called Magician walking around. His first few tricks were COLD and DRY. But his last trick wowed us all.

The food at Dave and Buster's was pretty good. I had the Blackened Chicken Pasta . It was good, nice and tasty. The flavoring was just right and the chicken was nice and tender. I would go there again. I know Chris liked it too because when he finished his food (which was pretty fast), he started and ended with mine. Chris had the Jack Daniel's Sirlion Steak. His mashed potatos were yummy. Sue had Bowfingers. CIndy had (i think) a Parmesean Crusted Chicken Caesar. It was a nice huge salad. Brian had the Cajun Shrimp Alfredo Pasta. It was a delicious meal all in all.

oh yeah. I got this really cute patch from hot topic. It's a care bear patch...the good luck bear. and it's green...maybe i'll take a picture of it so ya all can see it. Just need to decide where to put it.

Talked to Ruby online today. Apparently it's been raining like crazy over there in Hong Kong. She sounds like she is having A LOT of fun. But she ain't too thrilled with all the rain that is recently paying them a visit. they are getting the works, thunder and lighting. I can't wait till she gets back.

Miso Soup


Outta breathe. Sat in the Jacuzzi not too long ago and swam a bit. Stationing yourself in the water can do that to you. anyways. it was relaxing, also my lazy ass way of exercising.

I made miso soup today. it was a bit strong. next time i am going to add more water. I also made califronia rolls again. those things take a lot of preparation. or is it just me? tomorrow, i think i will make meatballs to go with pasta and mushroom sauce. I will also study for my DATs. i am going to attempt to finsh a section. I MUST...I MUST... i can do it. and maybe on saturday i'll take a subject test. we'll see.

on my short list of to do things. I will make my about me page and attempt to integrate my two websites. my old site and my new site. Hopefully i do that very soon and not put it off.

well, i am kinda tired. maybe i'll nap, maybe i won't, but just know that i'll still be doing something. oh yeah...today i tasted japanese beer, asahi....it was super dry...very bitter and yuckie.

I had work today. I work every wednesday. but i don't really do much these days cause my boss and head boss are putting together protocols for this new graduate class. So i did my work stuff. Got paid today. Wasn't too big of a paycheck, but hey it's just extra money. i'm sure during the school year, it'll be better. but that's ok...these days i am much to lazy to do anything BIG. After work I went to the supermarket. Bought supplies to make dinner. I like to buy my ingredients the day i cook it. I like it FRESH...what can I say. Wendy came over too. so she help me prepare dinner. She brought over some somen. it's a type of japanese noddle that you eat cold with a special type of sauce.

Yesterday, Chris and I ate at Tenko. It's a japanese style restuarant that i think is owned by chinese people. maybe? Anyways, that's where I got the idea to make california rolls and hand rolls. They turned out pretty well, so i am proud of myself. Although, I will add more imitation krab meat flakes next time. This was my very first time making it and i am glad it went well. I also made pasta. I tried out this mushroom sauce that i looked up online from allrecipes.com. That's usually where I get all my recipes from, if not from my parents. That turned out pretty well to, wendy liked it. Chris, not so much because it did't have meat. He's a MEAT man.

That's pretty much what i did today. right now I am looking at this one picture from my vacation from canada. it's really pretty. Ever heard of Chateau Lake Louise?

Pain......


my EYES are burning. I woke up pretty early today, at least much earlier than usual. my dentist appointment went pretty well. I got the gentle lady. it's great, that feeling after you get your teeth cleaned cause it's just refreshing. The down side is my eyes are killing me. They are burning me and i don't know what to do. i think it's my allergies acting up cause i didn't take my CLARINEX. debating whether to apply Naphcon A or Clerz to relieve this burning sensation on my eyes. I decided to go with the clerz because i just got it from my dad before i left for irvine. Not much relief.

so as I was saying, the leady that cleaned my teeth was really nice. She knows all about my siblings and we chatted about that. but anyways, i just got from denny's. Steve and Erwim came down to visit. Right now they are singing a song about being constapated (spelling?). but enough about that. i still need to get my eyes check, but i might wait till next year to do that, but i am not too sure about that. for i have only 2 pairs of contacts left. I better get some soon. hmm...i better check prices online.

okay, i should go now. I have to make my way to the supermarket sometime soon, i'm outta bottled water. oh yes, pardon my last few blogs, i have been much too lazy to re-read them.

Washing the Dishes.......


i'm back home in Arcadia. Here i get nothing done. well, not really, i do get some things done. like LAUNDRY. oh and i get my weekly fruits. and there's the supplies that i collect. toilet paper, paper towels, etc. but that stuff doesn't come free. it's odd every time i come, it seems that it's Sheila's Turn to Wash the Dishes. so now I have to go wash the dishes. poo. i really don't like to because it makes my hand dry and well that just doesn't feel good. I guess that's what lotion is for. anyways, i better go wash them dishes.

TO CHRIS: I RULE!!!!!

finally......

today...pretty much bummed around all day. I did get a couple of things accomplished. i finally finished going my change of address thing. I finally sent in for my online prints. From my vacation in canada and other pictures i had that i wanted to get prints of. i also finally cleaned out my compact flash cards.

now all i have to do is buy an album for my pictures and organized my junk. i also got chris to post up my auction. hopefully it sells. I found another pair of sunglasses, but i don't know if i should bid on them. i'll think it over.

tomorrow, i am going home. why? because i have a dentist appointment at 8:45 in the morning.....freaking A...so early. i might as well get my eyes checked too and rotate my tires. better write this stuff down.

hmmm....i have another interview on thurs, but i don't know if i can take the job, i might not have enough work award to do it. i'll have to look into that. onto other things, i gotta start my guitar self lessons. just too lazy to take out chris's guitar because its so hard to put back in. school is starting soon, i better get a head start. and finalize my schedule and buy that parking permit. ahhh...so much to do.....ever get that feeling, you finish one thing, but you think up more things that you have to do. well, that's life for you.

bumming around......


i have been a bum all day. all i did was eat and watch tv. i need to do more productive things. I woke up at 1:30 in the afternoon. i did get my sunglasses though. it was a disappointment. it did look good, but it didn't fit my face shape. i have a pretty small nose and those sunglasses are for someone with a fuller nose. so i don't know if i can return it, but i think i might just ebay them off.

other things that have been going on. philip came down south recently. we painted the town RED. well not really. we went to tgif on wednesday. it's been a while since we were there. jesse, thresa, wendy, mike, janette, philip, and me afterwards went to a secret garden. mike introduced us to it. it's quite nice, you have a forest, desert, and a waterfall all in one. oh shadow people too. afterwards, wendy and philip found some crates......hehehe.

then we all helped to build philip's bed, but due to an unfortunate accident...it was not meant to be. hmm....i am kinda tired, even though i didn't do much today. I did update my site though.

I won an auction today. It was for a pair of sunglasses. my heart was beating so fast because i waited until the last 45 seconds to bit. so that was my Rush for the day.

I also saw Serving Sara. It was entertaining, but not all that.

Big 2. that card game that i'm sure all of you have played, in junior high, high school, and whatnot. anyways, i was playing chris and he pulled out a 3 card straight. i was like, what the.....i don't think so. i mean i've NEVER seen anyone pull that out before. and we never said those were allowed, SO THERE. I called Wayne and he agreed with me. Then chris called his brother Ewen and he said yeah, but it depends on the VERSION you're playing. VERSIONS??? okay, seeing as how we did not initiate the 3 card straight, they are illegal. see i was kicking ass. then i see a spontaneous stunt, like so. Anyways, i like the normal way big two is played. none of that crazy endless straights and whatnot, almost like playing with no rules.

i baked today. I made blueberry muffins and chocolate chip cookies. the muffins turned out fine, but i think i should have added more crumps. the cookies were too sweet, next time, i'll add less chocolates. i looked up these recipes onlines and wanted to give them a try. they weren't all that just to let you know. on friday, wendy and I went shopping. I got this cookie book from borders. it's great... it has nice illustration and the stuff in it is good too.

i started a new site. i think i'll mix my current site and this one into one. mostly, my new site is going to be my new domain. anyways, both of them are updated. i am thinking about chaging a couple of things and well that's too much of a pain, so maybe i'll start fresh.

I saw xXx. It was entertaining. we wanted to see Serving Sara, but didn't make it in time. So we saw xXx. hmm...it's late, i better go to sleep. i have church tomorrow.
